Fr. John M. Himes, OSF
Rector.
Welcome

Dear Beloved of Christ:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for visiting our parish website.

We are In the midst of the season of Epiphany. This season begins on January 6th and runs to Ash Wednesday.  During this time we celebrate Jesu being know to the world through the visitation of the Maji and his Baptism by St. John the Baptist. It is  a season in which we focus on God's revelation to man through Jesus CHrist. This season is a time for faithful Christians to rejoice in the love and grace of God, the Father of all made manifest to all His children.

We at Trinity believe the gift of Christ to the world is the most profound action of God in human history and we believe that the Holy Trinity will guide and direct Christ's Holy Bride, the Church.

Trinity Church has been a beacon of the Light of the Gospel in Marshall for over 160 years. During that time, we have been a congregation that strives to reflect the light and love of Christ in our teaching and outreach ministries to the wider community of Marshall and Harrison County.

We are a community of faith that believes in the whole truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In a world that continually offers up half truths for life’s complex problems, we are a community of faith that holds to the truth that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life to all the trials we face in this life. Christ is the answer to the mysteries we face. His presence is with us through Holy Scripture and through the very mystery of the Sacraments we celebrate each Sunday.

We are a Church of the Anglican Communion. The Anglican Communion is a worldwide Body of Christ representing  80 million Christians in 38 different provinces. Trinity Church is represented in this wider body of fellow Christians through the Diocese of Texas.

It is our prayer that you will join us in: a journey of faith that grows individuals committed to reflecting the love of Christ, a Church that lives into the fullness of all that God has to offer and build a community that rejoices in all that God has done  for his children.

We look forward to you worshipping with us to experience the mystery of Christ, again, for the first time. May our Lord bless you and keep you.

In Christ,
         Fr. John
