Trinity's Boy Scout Troop 550 Scout Master Honored
Mike Brannon, Scout Master of Trinity Episcopal Church's Boy Scout Troop 550 was recently honored at the Troops December 12th Court of Honor. Mike has served as Scout Master for a number of years and was the driving force in getting the troop re-activated. At the Court of Honor he was presented with the St. George's Award. This is an award given by the Episcopal Church to those whose actions and life style lift up and promote service to youth in the Church. This award is the highest award the church can give for youth work.
Visitation and Confrimation by Bishop Rayford
The Rt. Rev. Rayford High joined with the Trinity family for confirmation and episcopal visitation on Sunday, February 20th 2011. Bp. High and his wife Pat visited with the congreagation at breakfast. Later Bishop High confirmed 12 new members of the Church and met with the vestry.
